Objective and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Aggressively sell software and services to achieve agreed upon business revenue and profitability targets through maximum penetration into new and existing markets.
- Prospect, establish, build and maintain key business relationships with a sophisticated client base. Quickly build and leverage customer relationships, in order to strengthen company’s position in the marketplace.
- Develop “expert” knowledge of Open iT software and services to deliver effective presentations that eloquently articulate company’s unique position in the marketplace.
- Proactively communicate and engage with CFOs, CIOs, VP-level, IT managers and System Engineers and others throughout the organization.
- Ensure account profiles, sales forecasts and business development reports are accurate and timely.
Skills and Requirements:
Skills and Qualifications
- 4-8 years of software or service sales experience with demonstrated track record of achievement
- Proven record in selling infrastructure-related technology solutions to major firms
- Enterprise sales experience - specifically around IT Network Solutions
- Demonstrated ability and desire to cold call, qualify prospects, and close sales
- Proven record of calling on the C-level, VP level, and technical decision makers (to be verified by Customer references)
- Strong commitment to customer satisfaction
- Knowledge and understanding of business networking needs
- Ability to clearly discuss business value propositions
- Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills
- Must have worked with yearly quotas of 2 million dollars and up
Education Requirements
- BS degree or equivalent preferred, MBA a plus
