Solutions Architect

Objective and Responsibilities:

Directly reporting to the Vice President for Sales, employee shall be responsible for:

  • Developing customer’s strategy and vision based on OpeniT solutions through working with the sales account teams and partners or clients.
  • Ensuring the delivery of the right product or service in the right place and at the right time.

Skills and Requirements:

Required Knowledge:

  • Experience in assessing new opportunities and performing necessary due-diligence around technical, operational impacts.
  • Broad knowledge on the IT Solutions and Professional Services.
  • Ability to formulate stakeholder assessment, engagement and obtain buy-in strategies and execution.
  • Understanding of Marketing strategy, planning, and execution practices.
  • Building strong interpersonal relationships, promoting a team-focused culture with strong shared goals & accountabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate leadership abilities and superior presentation skills in a multi-cultural environment.

Required Experience:

  • Extensive experience in identifying, evaluating and implementing new solutions opportunities.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience, ideally with 3+ years of experience in a professional service IT environment.
  • Experience in the development of business cases, cost / benefit analysis, pricing models, and forecasts.
  • Formal experience in  IT Services, marketing, business planning and project management functions.

Qualifications:

  • Must be highly customer service oriented.
  • Proven record of successfully recommending suitable technical products for business customers.
  • Must be highly organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Strong passion for technology and interest in building on product knowledge continuously.
  • Independent worker with a track record of taking initiative.
  • Works well in a collaborative environment and possesses a positive attitude.

Other Information:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

  • Works with sales and technical team to drive new OpeniT opportunities within the region.
  • Provides presales and delivery of technical consultancy services to our customers on a global basis
  • Participates in customer meetings to determine business and technical requirements that will be used in developing solutions or solution alternatives that map within customer’s capabilities
  • Strategically collaborating with Vendor partners to drive the business
  • Understanding of the OpeniT Solutions, Roadmaps and Solutions Framework.
  • Assists Sales Team in defining, positioning, designing and presenting a range of OpeniT products and solutions.
  • Interacts with senior management and stakeholders  in managing expectations and  mitigating risk
  • Develops Solutions Proposal that define customer expectation and product and services requirements necessary to achieve customer objectives.
  • Works with the Project Management to ensure the services are implemented and delivered as scoped
