Open iT Signs Reseller Agreement with Landmark Graphics Corporation

Landmark Graphics Corporation, a division of Halliburton, and a global provider of integrated exploration drilling and production software to oil and gas companies in over 80 countries has recently agreed to resell Open iT software metering technology, offering it as part of its turnkey solutions for the E&P enterprises it serves.

With this new agreement, Landmark Graphics Corporation will resell Open iT Software and recommend Open iT LicenseAnalyzer as a preferred license usage management system to its software customers. With Open iT LicenseAnalyzer, Landmark can structure its licensing agreements to include a metering component that documents actual license usage statistics and generates secure, Web-accessible reports showing any and all applications used in a given timeframe. This will enable both the customers' application managers and Landmark operations to better understand a company's software needs, as well as providing an exceptional budgeting tool for IT managers in areas such as IT charge-back, capacity planning and application support.
