HOW LicenseOptimizer WORKS

When licenses are checked out from a license manager such as FLEXlm, IBM LUM, or Sentinel, but not actively used, LicenseOptimizer allows you to freeze or temporarily disable licenses. Where you have predefined low-priority users taking up licenses in high-demand work periods, you can gracefully notify and disable licenses for those who require the tools, allowing them to reinstate the program with a single click when a license becomes available. With license metering, for software installed and unused, you can disable and recall the license for others to use.

This graph shows daily maximum number of active and total users. For particular customers, a user is inactive if he has not used any CPU, Keyboard, Mouse or I/O for the last 30 minutes or more. (The inactivity definition is configurable). LicenseOptimizer license monitoring software can automatically return inactive licenses to the license manager.
